5 Tips to enjoy your St Patrick’s Day at home

If you are undecided on what to do for St Patrick’s week, below are some helpful tips to embrace your spare time with a True taste of Ireland at Home.

If you have slowly made your way through all of the above, and are wanting that little bit extra to finish off your evening with a touch of Irishness at home, dust off the baking trays and get ready for Tip No. 4. Next up, we have a recipe your ultimate Imperial Irish Stout – Brownie;


· Dry Ingredient Mixture:

· 1 cup all-purpose flour

· 3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa power

· 1/2 teaspoon salt

· Chocolate Mixture:

· 6 tablespoons butter (cut into cubes)

· 8 ounces dark bittersweet chocolate (chopped; may substitute extra-dark chocolate chips)

· Half a cup of crushed Walnuts

· 3/4 cup white chocolate chips

· Eggs and Sugar Mixture:

· 4 large eggs (at room temperature)

· 1 cup granulated white sugar

· Final Additions:

· 1 cup/8 ounces – Imperial Irish Stout (suggested – White Hag’s – Black Boar)

· 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Best served with a fresh scoop of vanilla ice-cream.
